He will bring misfortune unto all

All he'd ever done was waste around
Now it was the time to stand his ground

Takes what he wants without mind of consequence
Does all he can to protect what he scavenges
Delusional because he loves her

Lost within the cobwebs of his mind
(Like a fly, he is stuck in a web, so entangled in his machinations)
Carved a notch each day to pass the time
(he did now know what he was or what he was longing after)
Locked inside a room without a key
(And to us it may seem like a day, but to him it's been a thousand lifetimes)

Hidden away from the sight of society
All that he does he believes will set you free
Delusional because he lost her

Our lonesome Scavenger
Wanders the earth
